What it lacks in colors it makes up for in scale – Tumalog Falls is immense in size, pouring water down in a massive cascade. Its remote jungle setting kept it undiscovered until fairly recently in 2012. 

AGUINID FALLS

Aguinid Falls is a spectacular multi-tiered waterfall located in Samboan municipality, southern Cebu. It features an impressive Five levels of falling water creating a stunning natural sight. Beyond the scenic views though, Aguinid Falls invites visitors to enjoy the crystal clear pools formed at each level. Swimming and jumps into the refreshingly cool and azure blue waters makes exploring this jungle wonder even more thrilling. OSLOB CUARTEL RUINS & CHURCH

Located south of Cebu, Oslob Church and Cuartel Ruins are among the oldest historical landmarks in the area. The Cuartel Ruins consist of the remnants of a collapsed bell tower floor next to Oslob Church. Made from unusually thick 91cm coral stones, it originally served as a barracks (“cuartel” in Spanish) for Spanish soldiers in the 1800s. Though construction was abandoned when the Americans arrived in 1899, the durable foundation has endured earthquakes and typhoons over the decades. Visiting this archaeological location provides a glimpse into Oslob’s importance during the Spanish colonial era, with the ruins offering insight into military structures of the past.
